Album Review Week ∞ Wayne Krantz: Greenwich Mean

As Album Review Week presses on, we welcome another guest reviewer. This time from Coconut Joe who is in the world’s greatest Avant-Folk group Coconut & The Duke. I first heard Wayne Krantz play at a Donald Fagen concert. He played this solo on a song of DF's called "the goodbye look". It was perhaps the most interesting and moving guitar work I've ever heard. Very percussive sounding. What I heard made it clear to me this was someone who was an original - in a Thelonious Monk like way. S
